Veteran Tamil producer RB Choudary died in a car accident in Udaipur on Tuesday. His body will be brought to Chennai tomorrow. Actors Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and Prithviraj Sukumaran paid tribute to the late producer, expressing their condolences.
According to an ANI report, Choudary was returning with his nephew after attending a relative's wedding ceremony in Lilamba village. Their car lost control when cattle strayed onto the road and crashed into a roadside wall. Due to the severe impact, the producer was declared dead on the spot.
Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan shared a statement, which read, "Shri RB Chowdary Garu's Demise is Shocking The demise of renowned producer and Super Good Films head Shri RB Chowdary Garu has left me stunned. I cannot believe the tragic news that Shri Chowdary Garu met with a fatal end in a road accident near Udaipur in Rajasthan. I pray to God that his soul attains peace (sic)."
"He produced the film ‘Suswagatham’ in which I acted. It achieved great success. Expertise in film production and related business was his forte. He selected stories suitable for family viewing and produced films featuring excellent songs. The sister sentiment in the Annavaram film captivated family audiences. He earned a special place as a producer in both Telugu and Tamil film industries. I convey my deepest condolences to Shri RB Chowdary Garu's family (sic)," the post concluded.
Rajinikanth, on his X handle, remembered Choudhary as a "top-notch producer" and "wonderful human being." He wrote, "My dear friend, Super Good Films R.B. Choudhary is a top-notch producer. A wonderful human being. He has given opportunities to countless young directors and kept the film world alive. His untimely death news has left me in great shock and immense sorrow. My deepest condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace...(folded hands emojis)...#RBChoudhary (sic)."
Chiranjeevi's X post read, "Deeply heartbroken to hear about the sudden and tragic loss of Legendary producer R.B. Choudary garu. I have known him for many years and was recently associated with him on my film "God Father" through Super Good Films. He has shaped the careers of many talented directors and actors and brought countless stories to life. His contribution to Indian cinema is beyond words. My heartfelt condolences to his family, strength to them in this unimaginable loss (sic)."
Prithviraj Sukumaran paid tribute to the late producer on his Instagram story by adding a picture captioned with folded hands emojis.

About RB Choudary
The late producer worked in several film industries, predominantly in Tamil and Telugu, along with a few films in Malayalam and Hindi. He is the founder of the production company Super Good Films.
Choudary hailed from a Rajasthani family. He worked in the steel, exports, and jewellery industries before entering film production. He started his career as a producer in the Malayalam film industry first and produced a few films under the "Super" banner.
In 1989, he entered the Tamil film industry and produced films on the Super banner in partnership with R Mohan, who manufactured Good Knight mosquito mats. When they decided to part ways, Choudary borrowed "Good" from "Good Knight" and modified it to Super Good Films.
Choudary was married to Mahjabeen, a Tamilian woman. He is survived by his four sons. His son Suresh produced films for their home production, Super Good Films, while Jeevan is an entrepreneur who runs a steel company. His third son, Jithan Ramesh, is an actor and producer, and his youngest son, Jiiva, is also an actor.
More details regarding the late producer's funeral are awaited. His family is yet to issue a statement.
