Vijay might do a film for Jana Nayagan makers to offset losses amid leak, delay
Reports suggest that actor Vijay is likely to do one more film with KVN Productions to compensate Jana Nayagan losses caused by piracy and delays. The leak occurred amid Tamil Nadu elections, sparking industry outrage and arrests.

Actor Vijay is reportedly considering doing one more film for the makers of Jana Nayagan to compensate for the losses caused by the recent leak and delay of the movie, according to reports. The H Vinoth directorial was billed as Vijay's farewell film before he becomes a full-time politician.
Vijay's highly anticipated big-budget film, Jana Nayagan, was leaked online unexpectedly on April 9. Due to the leak, the makers are likely to face huge losses. It is being reported that Vijay has assured the makers that he'd take care of the losses. Word has it that the actor could do one more film to help the producers with the loss incurred.
However, there has been no official announcement regarding the same.
The film, which had been stalled for nearly three months due to objections raised by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), saw its introduction scenes and climax leaked first, followed by the entire movie in high definition. The Rs 500-crore project faced widespread piracy within hours of the initial leak.
The leak occurred less than two weeks ahead of the Tamil Nadu State Assembly elections, leading to allegations within the industry that it was a targeted attack against Vijay. The actor is contesting as the chief of his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), against the ruling DMK and the principal opposition AIADMK.
Several South Indian film stars, including Chiranjeevi and Sivakarthikeyan, have condemned the leak.
Jana Nayagan, directed by H Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and Mamitha Baiju, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Earlier, Vijay had announced that Jana Nayagan would be his last film before a full-fledged entry into politics.
Following the leak, Tamil Nadu cyber crime police arrested six suspects in connection with the piracy.
