Speaking in a session titled 'What Lies Beneath: #I'mMoreThanMyDress' at the India Today Conclave 2015 in New Delhi, the Queen actor said, "Beauty is a feeling. Every woman has a right to feel beautiful, confident, fat and whatever."

Haydon narrated anecdotes about her stint with international modelling in Australia and New York. "I was made fun of for being skinny at school and yet, when I went to the modelling agency, they asked me to shed 5 kilos," she said.
"There is no common denominator for beauty and it changes from person to person," Haydon said during her talk punctuated by audio-visual presentation prepared by her specially for the event. "It is impossible to wear clothes without transmitting social signals," she said.
