Kangana Ranaut faces criticism for personal attack on Urmila Matondkar

Kangana Ranaut faced criticism for calling Urmila Matondkar a "soft porn star". While Twitter users criticised Ranaut for her personal attack, many celebrities from the industry came out in support of Urmila. From Swara Bhasker to filmmaker Anubhav Sinha, celebs are praising Urmila for taking a stand for Bollywood.
During a TV interview, Kangana Ranaut said that Urmila wasn't known for her acting. She added, "Even Urmila, she is a soft porn star. I know it's very blatant. But she isn't known for her acting for sure. What is she known for? For doing soft porn right? If she can get a ticket, why won't I get a ticket?"
Actor-politician Urmila Matondkar had earlier lashed out at Kangana Ranaut over her remarks about Mumbai, film industry veteran Jaya Bachchan, and the ongoing controversy over the alleged drug menace in Bollywood. "Kangana Ranaut should come out with all her issues once and for all, instead of going on and on," said Urmila Matondkar.

PM Modi also touched Sarkar's feet and presented a shawl to him as a mark of respect. In 1952, Sarkar was arrested in Kashmir while he was accompanying Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee as the latter was marching to hoist the tricolour there. BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya described the elderly party leader as "one of the earliest grassroots figures associated with the nationalist movement in post-Independence India."
