Arvind Kejriwal in court today, dispute in Mahayuti alliance over Lok Sabha seat

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be produced in court today as his Enforcement Directorate custody in the liquor policy case ends. The probe agency will seek a 7-day extension of Kejriwal's custody for further interrogation.

In an apparent dispute within the Mahayuti alliance, senior Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) leader Anandrao Adsul opposed Navneet Rana's candidature from the Amravati Lok Sabha constituency in Maharashtra, stating that she was getting into the "well of death" (maut ka kuan).

The opposition alliance in Maharashtra, the Maha Vikas Aghadi, is also facing internal trouble as Congress opposes some candidates from the Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray faction for the Lok Sabha polls.
