Even after the horrific Pulwama terror attack and recent escaltion of tension between India and Pakistan, the Chinese have sought to block a move to designate Masood Azhar a global terrorist.
The proposal to designate Azhar under the 1267 Al Qaeda Sanctions Committee of the UN Security Council was moved by France, UK and the US on February 27.
However, China once again shielded Masood Azhar and in turn, Pakistan in United Nations Security Council.
