Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' mania grips Tamil Nadu; BJP blames TMC for deaths in Bengal; More

Rajinikanth's Kaala, directed by Pa Ranjith, is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on June 7. The film, which will talk about indigenous land laws and inequality, also stars Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil and Samuthirakani in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, the BJP SC Morcha, the Scheduled caste wing of the party, under the leadership of party general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, and Mukul Roy, protested against the the alleged political murder of the youth in Bengal.

Video: Vijay swears in as Tamil Nadu CM amid roars, chants of frenzied crowd

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony. The TVK managed to secure the Governor's nod to form the government after the Congress, the CPI, the CPI(M), the VCK, and IUML extended their support to the Vijay-led party for a colaition government.
