In Depth: How Kerala is tackling coronavirus outbreak

As coronavirus death toll in China passes 1,000, India is on high alert as two positive cases were detected in the state of Kerala. Earlier three positive cases were reported, however, one of them tested negative in the recent past.

To tackle the coronavirus outbreak, Kerala health officials deployed at airports to screen passengers for the symptoms of the deadly virus. According to a release issued by the health department on Monday, a total of 3,367 are under observation across the state, of which 3,336 are under home quarantine.
