'Pakistan must be made to pay for it': Ex-Army chief on terror attacks in J&K

In an exclusive interview with India Today, former Army Chief General VP Malik (retired) spoke on recent terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and on a host of issues.

On being asked about terror attacks in Jammu and is it time for another Balakot, General VP Malik said, "Well, Pakistan must be made to pay for it. I am quite firm on that, how we do it. I think we will leave it to the security forces and the people who are in charge of these actions, but I do believe that certain proactive actions will have to be taken both overtly and covertly to answer any incidents of this nature which are taking place now."
