With the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra in deep crisis, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray spoke to party leader Eknath Shinde, who is leading the rebellion against his govt, over the phone this evening.
According to sources, Eknath Shinde claimed he has 35 MLAs with him and added that if Uddhav Thackeray is ready to join hands with the BJP, then there won't be a split in the Shiv Sena party.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA also met Aghadi rebels at the Surat hotel where they are staying and there reports that the saffron party is likely to move all defectors to a resort on outskirts of Ahmedabad.
