As Centre changes policy, Cong says universal free vaccination still not achieved

Calling for universal free vaccination against COVID-19, the Congress Monday said this goal has not been achieved as people would still have to pay for jabs at private hospitals despite the Centre changing its the immunisation policy on Monday.

The opposition party's statement came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the Centre will provide free coronavirus vaccines to states and union territories for inoculation of all above 18 from June 21.
