People's Court: Fringe groups cry Valentine's Day war, will the governments finally intervene?

Valentine's Day has a new angle this time. The Bajrang Dal in Ahemdabad is dealing with the additional threat of Love Jihad along with the danger of women falling in love and celebrating Valentine's Day.

This motivated group of Bajrang Dal workers has taken it upon themselves to stop women from taking the extreme step of celebrating Valentine's Day. Poeple refusing to take them seriously has not deterred the Bajrang Dal. In Hyderabad, the saffron soldiers have warned pubs and restuarants against any V-Day celebrations, issuing circulars against the day of love.

Lucknow university has asked its students to not even roam the premises on Valentine's Day.

As India climbs the development ladder, these so-called guardians of the Indian culture are pulling us down. Will the governments finally intervene?

Video: Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM amid loud cheers and chants

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders.
