Row over Faiz's poem Hum dekhenge: Can a protest poem be anti-Hindu?

As debate rages over Faiz Ahmed Faiz's noted poem 'Hum Dekhenge' being anti-Hindu, IIT-Kanpur has formed a committee to inquire into a complaint against the recitation of the poem 'Hum Dekhenge' on campus by its students during anti-CAA stir. The poem was epitomized by singer Iqbal Bano in defiance of General Zia's saree ban. Since then, the poem has been sung as a song of dissent.

Video: Vijay swears in as Tamil Nadu CM amid roars, chants of frenzied crowd

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony.
