Nick Jonas on how he met Priyanka Chopra, Deepika-Ranveer to have a Sindhi wedding

Nick Jonas for the first time opened up on his relationship with Priyanka Chopra on Jimmy Fallon's show. The 25-year-old singer revealed how the two met and fell in love. "We met through a friend, so we got connected first over texts and we starting talking for a while and it was about six months before we met up in person. And then we actually attended the Met Gala [last year] together, had a great time, just as friends," Nick said.

"But we then met up a couple months ago, I think five months ago now, and it was kind of immediate. I think we just knew it was right and jumped right in and we're very happy," he said.

On the other hand, buzz has it that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will have a traditional Sindhi wedding at Lake Como in Italy. Rumour has it that Ranveer's family wants a typical Sindhi wedding, with traditional customs, including Saanth, which means that friends and relatives will tear the bridegroom's clothes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday hugged and honoured 98-year-old Makhanlal Sarkar, one of the earliest and senior most members of the BJP. The scene unfolded on the stage ahead of Suvendu Adhikari's swearing-in as West Bengal's Chief Minister in Kolkata. PM Modi also touched Sarkar's feet and presented a shawl to him as a mark of respect. In 1952, Sarkar was arrested in Kashmir while he was accompanying Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee as the latter was marching to hoist the tricolour there. BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya described the elderly party leader as "one of the earliest grassroots figures associated with the nationalist movement in post-Independence India."
