PM Modi meets world leaders, tech CEOs; Ukraine, Russia, US meet ends without deal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met several world leaders and tech executives at the AI Impact Summit 2026 in Delhi. After welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron to India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Spanish President Pedro Sanchez. Prime Minister Modi also welcomed Finland's Prime Minister Piteri Orpo. While Google CEO Sundar Pichai met PM Modi and discussed the transformative role of artificial intelligence in India's development. Pichai highlighted Google's commitment to the Prime Minister's mission, stating, 'we discussed how Google is helping with his mission to infuse AI at all levels in India to improve health, expand access to information in all languages and support startups, agriculture and so much more.' 

In other global developments, trilateral talks between the US, Russia, and Ukraine in Geneva concluded with limited progress. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton criticized US climate policy shifts while visiting India, and Iran briefly disrupted traffic in the Strait of Hormuz during military drills. The program also covered the landmark International Fleet Review in Visakhapatnam and Kanye West's upcoming debut performance in India.
