In an interview with India Today's Nikhil Naaz, Surya Kumar Yadav addressed the situation, stating, "14 players and 10-12 support staff. That's the real trophy." He said the team's priority was to play cricket and they remained focused on the game, adding that winning the tournament was the best answer they could give to anyone.
