The forgotten history behind Mothers' Day
Did you know the woman who created Mother’s Day eventually grew to hate what the celebration had become?
India vs South Africa: KL Rahul, speaking to the press on the eve of the first ODI, welcomed the return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, emphasising their importance in the dressing room. The stand-in captain also discussed the team combination, with the likes of Rishabh Pant and Ruturaj Gaikwad available. Rahul further acknowledged the fading ability of India’s Test batters to play spin.
"Their (Rohit and Kohli) importance at any point is huge. To have senior players in the team makes the dressing room feel a lot more confident and having their presence and experience helps out a lot of players and helps out the team. So, I'm really happy that they are here," Rahul told the media in Ranchi on Saturday, November 29.
"Winning is the most important thing. That's what we are trying to focus on. We are trying to forget what happened a week ago and focus on the game tomorrow and see how we can put in a collective performance. And then go on to the next venue and try to do that again and win the series.
"Having a settled team helps and having familiar faces helps the dressing room."
