We at KXIP enjoy winning games for each other: Sam Curran

Sam Curran became the youngest player to take an IPL hat-trick as he almost single-handedly helped Kings XI Punjab snatch victory from the jaws of defeat against Delhi Capitals.

When the Englishman was asked about if he wants more hat-tricks, Sam Curran said that he has his, "fingers crossed for more victories than hat-tricks, hopefully the boys can."

"We got some nice momentum. We have got some nice bunch of boys in the team and we really enjoy winning games for each other and so far so good," Sam Curran said speaking exclusively to AajTak.

It was a sensational effort from Sam Curran. Delhi Capitals were cruising along in their chase of 167 at 144 for 3 but lost their last 7 wickets for 8 runs in 18 balls. Curran took 4 of those wickets. Sam Curran though praised his teammates for the win.

"I didn't. I think Delhi needed about 30 runs off 28 balls, when Shami got Rishabh Pant. That changed the game and then Chris Morris got run out the first ball by our captain, which was pretty cool," Sam Curran said.

"I think we saw a few people leaving when they needed 23 off 21, I am sure that the people who left... It was an amazing win and the boys showed some great fight to get back into that position and luck that we got two points," Sam Curran added.
