Mirabai Chanu elated after winning gold in CWG22: Want to thank India for praying for me

Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu, in an exclusive interview with India Today, thanked the fans for their constant support and praying for her after winning the gold medal in the women's 49kg category in the Commonwealth Games.

“It was not a competition against the other opponents, and I was only competing with myself and did not have to fight much. Everybody knows that the Commonwealth Games is easy for me but I wanted to give it my personal best,” she said.
