After months of speculation, finally the most awaited popular reality show Bigg Boss premiered last night. Some popular and some not-so popular faces entered the house with a bang. On one hand celebs like Karanvir Bohra, Dipika Kakar, Sreesanth to Anup Jalota entered the house with a promise to entertain their fans, while on the other hand, commoner contestant jodis like Romil Chaudhary and Nirmal Singh to Deepak Thakur and Urvashi Vani became an instant hit. Anup Jalota and Jasleen Matharu: One of India's most popular Bhajan singers seems to be a total misfit for the show generally known for fights and showdowns. But seems like Anup is all set to break his own image. He entred the house with his girlfriend Jasleen Matharu and left tongues wagging. She has been learning music from him. Jasleen has been also part of music troop of Mika Singh and has released various albums.
Karanvir Bohra: Karanvir, whose real name is Manoj Bohra, is a popular TV actor. He has been in the industry from the last 12 years. He is popularly known for shows like Shararat, Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Qubool Hai, Saubhagyawati Bhav and Naagin 2. His flashy and flamboyant appearance surely makes us believe that he will be one of the master planner in the house.
Neha Pendse: The May I Come In Madam who also co-hosted Family Time With Kapil Sharma recently, might remind viewers of Shilpa Shinde. Like Shilpa, Neha too is a Maharashtrian and is popular for her comedy show. Neha started off with Marathi shows and gained popularity with comedy show May I Come In Madam, although she has been in the industry for more than two decades and had initially done shows like Hasratein. Neha is quite outspoken and has a sense of humour. IT needs to be seen if Neha would be able to match up to the histrionics of Shilpa Shinde in the last season.
Dipika Kakar Ibrahim: The popular TV actress, best known as Simar from Colors popular show Sasural Simar Ka, recently made her Bollywood debut with JP Dutta's Paltan. While doing Sasural Simar Ka, Dipika fell in love with her co-star Shoaib Ibrahim. She soon divorced her husband and started dating Shoaib. After almost four years of playing Simar, she quit the show and married Shoaib this year. Dipika has also dabbled into reality TV and has done shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Ja and Nach Baliye in the past.
Srishti Rode: TV actress Srishti, who has featured in shows like Shobha Somnath Ki, Ye Ishq Haaye and Punarvivaah, is all set to raise the temperature of the BB 12 house. In real life, Srishti is known for her friendly nature but her real test will be in the house. Srishti, who is engaged to actor Manish Nagdev, will be seen in a reality show for the first time.
Sreesanth: Season 12 welcomed Indian cricket's most controversial player as one of its inmates. Hailing from Kerala, his full name is Shanthakumaran Seeesanth, and he is an ex Indian cricketer. Though he is also known for his dancing skills, alleged match-fixing and short temper more than his batting skills.
Roshmi Banik and Kriti Verma: The beautiful ladies entered the outhouse a day before the premiere night. Though, they entered with different jodidaar's but after public voting they were selected to make the grand entry together as a jodi. Roshmi is Kolkata-based who runs an event management company and Kriti Verma is an ex-Roadies contestant and a GST officer. Like every other jodi, they will also have to take mutual decisions on all given occasions.
