Bengaluru techie manifests owning BMW at 26, finally drives one home in viral video
Bengaluru-based techie shared a video of buying a new BMW at 26 with his parents by his side. The post drew warm reactions online, with many saying the moment felt even more special because his family could celebrate it with him.

A techie from Bengaluru shared how a dream he once casually spoke into existence eventually turned into reality, as he went from admiring a parked BMW and promising himself he would own one someday to finally driving home his dream car at just 26.
Ishan Dutta, a Bengaluru-based Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) currently working at Adobe, shared the heartwarming milestone on LinkedIn, documenting the emotional moment he finally bought himself a brand-new BMW after years of hard work and determination.
In the video, cinematic clips of the sleek BMW flashed across the screen in sync with the music before transitioning to Dutta leaning proudly against the car.
Looking back on the journey, he said, “It was November of 2022 when I saw a BMW parked at CyberHub, and I sent a picture to my sister telling her that I would be buying this car for myself someday. Today, it has finally happened, and here we are.”
The video then shifted to one of the most emotional moments of the celebration, as Dutta stood alongside his mother while the two pulled away the ceremonial cover draped over the car, with applause erupting in the background.
His family gathered around the vehicle, performing traditional rituals and blessing the new purchase as the occasion turned into a proud family celebration.
Clearly overwhelmed, Dutta described the day as deeply meaningful, calling it “one of the best days” of his life. In another moment from the clip, his father stood beside the car and said with visible pride, “My son has bought this car, we are all extremely happy and proud of him.”
Sharing the video online, Dutta wrote about how surreal the achievement still felt.
“From manifesting a BMW at 26 to making it a reality, this still feels like a dream,” he wrote in the caption.
“Being able to have my parents experience it is truly humbling. Thank you everyone around me for supporting me all through these years, truly grateful.”
