UP woman cries inconsolably after pet cat's death, heartbreaking video goes viral
In Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr, a woman was seen crying inconsolably beside the body of her cat, grieving as though she had lost a member of her own family.
In a small village in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr, a woman’s grief over the death of her pet cat has touched thousands online after a video of her mourning went viral on social media.
The incident occurred around a week ago in Kucheja village, where the woman, identified as Amina, was seen crying inconsolably beside the body of her cat, grieving as though she had lost a member of her own family.
Villagers said the cat had four kittens, and much of Amina’s anguish stemmed from worrying about what would happen to them after their mother’s death. In the heartbreaking video, she is seen bringing the kittens from inside her home and placing them beside the dead cat while continuing to wail.
Locals said that Amina’s husband had died some time ago. After his death, she had adopted the cat and raised it along with the kittens. Over time, it became an emotional companion and an important part of her life.
The emotional scene drew a crowd from the neighbourhood, with some villagers attempting to console her while others urged her to take care of the orphaned kittens.
