A Delhi-based content creator decided to swap city life for the mountains, and turned a simple plate of Maggi into a full-day business experiment to find out just how much money he could make selling the beloved snack at a scenic hilltop spot.

Devansh Tyagi, a content creator from Delhi known for posting challenge-based videos on Instagram, shared a clip documenting his unusual one-day venture of setting up a Maggi stall in the mountains and tracking his earnings by the end of the day.

In the video, Tyagi opened the challenge by facing the camera and saying, “Let’s see how much I can earn by selling Maggi in the mountains.”

He was then seen scouting a picturesque spot before setting up a makeshift stall from scratch. The creator carefully arranged packets of instant noodles for display, placed tables and plastic chairs nearby for customers, and prepared a temporary cooking station overlooking the mountain landscape.

As part of the setup, Tyagi was also seen collecting water from a nearby stream to cook the Maggi, a moment that later sparked debate online.

Soon after, customers began trickling in.

The video showed hikers and visitors stopping by the stall, sitting down to enjoy steaming bowls of Maggi while taking in the mountain views. Tyagi was seen preparing the noodles fresh for each order, serving customers and chatting with them as they tasted the food.

He also revealed his pricing, saying he sold regular Maggi for Rs 100 per plate, while butter Maggi was priced slightly higher at Rs 120.

Throughout the day, the creator documented interactions with customers, many of whom appeared to enjoy the food and even offered positive feedback after eating. Several customers were shown complimenting the taste while others simply seemed amused at stumbling upon a temporary Maggi cafe in the middle of the mountains.

As the day progressed, more visitors arrived and eventually all the Maggi packets sold out.

At the end of the experiment, Tyagi surprised viewers by revealing his total earnings for the day, claiming he had made Rs 24,000 selling Maggi alone.

The video quickly grabbed attention online, with viewers reacting to both the earnings and the unusual business setup.

Several users joked that the clip had accidentally unlocked a “new business idea,” with some humorously suggesting that Maggi stalls in scenic tourist spots might be more profitable than expected.

Others, however, were less convinced by one particular detail: the use of stream water for cooking. Several commenters admitted everything seemed perfectly fine until Tyagi was shown filling water from the mountain stream, with some questioning hygiene and safety concerns.

Meanwhile, a section of viewers responded with humour, joking about their own luck and saying they were convinced that if they ever tried opening a Maggi stall themselves, customers would somehow stop showing up immediately.

For several Indian users, though, the idea of hot Maggi in the mountains felt oddly familiar. After all, few things are considered more comforting during a hill station trip than a warm bowl of noodles with a view.
