While some people spend most of their time scrolling through travel reels, one UK man gave the internet a view so surreal that several questioned if it was even real.
Some places feel too unreal to exist outside postcards or fantasy films, and for one man from the UK, stumbling upon a lake seemingly floating above the ocean felt exactly like that. Thankfully, instead of gatekeeping the spot, he decided to show the internet.
Shared on Instagram by Scott, who documents his travels around the world and posts adventure vlogs online, the video captured a breathtaking landscape that left viewers wondering if it was even real.
In the clip, Scott opened by panning the camera toward himself as he hiked with his toddler strapped safely to his back. Smiling into the camera, he said, “Have you ever seen a lake above an ocean? Well, here you go,” before turning the lens around to reveal the jaw-dropping sight.
What followed looked almost unreal, a lake resting high above towering cliffs, while far below, ocean waves crashed dramatically against rugged rock faces. The scene appeared to split two entirely different worlds into one frame: peaceful waters sitting quietly at the top, with the restless sea roaring beneath.
Surrounded by sweeping cliffs, misty skies and endless open landscape, the place looked less like a real destination and more like something pulled from a fantasy film.
