Man confronts woman clerk over 'ticket scam' at Bhopal station. Railways reacts
A video of the incident was shared by X user Suraj Kumar Bauddh, who called it a "ticket scam" at the Bhopal railway station. Bauddh alleged that a man waiting in line was bypassed while a "broker" - who was not even in the queue - was issued a ticket first.

A heated exchange at the Bhopal railway station was caught on camera after a man accused ticketing staff of favouring a “broker” over passengers waiting in line.
A video of the incident was shared by X user Suraj Kumar Bauddh, who called it a “ticket scam” at the station. Bauddh alleged that the man waiting in line was bypassed while the “broker” - who was not even in the queue - was issued a ticket first.
“This shows a nexus between staff and agents,” Bauddh claimed, adding: “We demand quick action against this. Such illegal marketing must be banned.”
In the clip, the man confronted the woman clerk at the ticket counter while recording the incident, questioning why a particular individual was repeatedly being given priority and allowed to bypass the queue.
“Kaahe ka pehle number hai tera? Kyun madam? Yeh sab mein kya inka pehle number hi rehta hai (What do you mean by this priority? Why, madam? Do they always get served first in everything?),” he asked, suggesting a pattern of preferential treatment.
He also alleged collusion, saying, “Kya aapke mili bhagat se ho raha hai yeh? Paagal samajh rahe ho kya customer ko (Is this happening with your involvement? Do you think customers are fools)?”
As the argument escalated, he warned, “DRM ko tag karunga and Rail Mantri ko bhi tag karunga, naukri chali jaayegi aapki (I will tag the DRM and even the Railway Minister; you could lose your job).”
The woman, seated at the counter, pushed back, asking, “Mere se badtameezi kar rahe ho aap (Are you misbehaving with me)?”
The man denied misconduct, reiterating that the same person was allegedly being prioritised across categories.

Responding to the allegations, the Divisional Railway Manager Bhopal replied, saying that the matter had been flagged to the concerned officials for immediate corrective measures.
In March, a similar video went viral from Jalandhar Cantt Railway Station, showing an argument between a passenger and a woman railway ticket clerk. The disagreement allegedly began when the clerk insisted on exact change for a ticket and refused to proceed with the booking.
