TTE's swift action to arrange medical help for sick toddler goes viral
A six-month-old baby who fell ill on train number 13246 was given medical attention after the on-board TTE alerted Danapur control in Bihar.

A six-month-old baby travelling on a train received timely medical assistance after railway staff acted swiftly during a medical emergency, earning praise online for their prompt response and coordination.
The incident came to light after the official X account of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Danapur shared a post showing a doctor attending to the infant onboard. According to the post, the child travelling on train number 13246 suddenly required urgent medical attention.
“As soon as the information was received, onboard TTE Dharmveer Yadav acted promptly and informed DNR Commercial Control, following which medical assistance was arranged at Mokama,” the post stated.

Railway authorities coordinated with medical teams to ensure help was available when the train reached Mokama station in Bihar. The quick response reportedly helped the child receive treatment without delay.
The DRM Danapur account also mentioned that the baby’s parents expressed gratitude towards the TTE and Indian Railways for stepping in during a stressful moment and arranging immediate support for their child.
