UP women beat up man who broke into their home, internet cheers their bravery

A CCTV clip from Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad shows how a group of women turned the tables on an intruder who casually entered their home on Eid. Responding with fear at first, they quickly regrouped to confront and restrain him.

The video from the Majhola area of the city has gone viral, capturing a group of young women confronting a man who entered their house on Eid. The clip is being widely shared on social media, with many hailing it as an example of “a daughter’s bravery.”

According to available information, the incident took place on March 21, when a man was seen entering the residence of Dr Salma Nasir. The footage shows him walking in casually, without raising immediate suspicion or appearing overtly threatening.

However, the situation quickly escalated once the women inside the house noticed his presence. One of the girls initially appeared startled, but within moments, the others stepped in, choosing to act rather than retreat. Demonstrating presence of mind, they collectively confronted the intruder and attempted to restrain him.

The video captures the group working together to overpower the man, leading to a brief scuffle inside the house. Their coordinated response ultimately prevented the situation from spiralling further.

As the footage continues to circulate, it is being widely praised online as an act of bravery. However, key details about the incident remain unclear.

It is not yet confirmed whether the man had entered the house with the intent to commit theft, or if there was any prior connection or dispute between him and the residents.

So far, there has been no official statement on the matter. Police from Majhola station have initiated an investigation, and authorities say the exact nature of the incident, whether attempted theft or a personal issue, will only be determined after a thorough probe.
