How Israel struck Hezbollah, took out Nasrallah: Timeline of Lebanon assault

On Saturday, Israel declared it had killed Hassan Nasrallah, the longtime Hezbollah leader, during a series of powerful airstrikes that shook Beirut on Friday night.

The IDF eliminated Nasrallah, along with Ali Karchi, the commander of the southern front in Hezbollah, and other commanders in Hezbollah.

Fighter jets of the Air Force under the precise intelligence guidance of the intelligence wing and the defense system, attacked the central headquarters of Hezbollah, which is located underground, under a residential building in the Daha area of ​​Beirut.

This announcement followed tumultuous days of intense conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. The fighting resulted in the deaths of numerous high-ranking Hezbollah officials and claimed over 1,000 lives in Lebanon.

BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya described the elderly party leader as "one of the earliest grassroots figures associated with the nationalist movement in post-Independence India."
