Trump to reconsider sanctions on Russia after meeting with Vladimir Putin

A crucial meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin has led to a significant statement from the US President. Donald Trump indicated a reconsideration of stiffer economic sanctions and tariffs on Russia, stating the meeting with Vladimir Putin went well. This decision is expected to be revisited in the next two to three weeks. Vladimir Putin engaged in flattery during the one-on-one discussion, mentioning the 2020 election and suggesting the war would not have occurred if Donald Trump had won. This meeting marks a diplomatic gain for Vladimir Putin, being his first on US soil with a US President. Discussions also touched upon potential business deals. Donald Trump aims to shift responsibility for a resolution to Europe and Zelensky, while also pursuing a Nobel Peace Prize by achieving a ceasefire before October. European nations are closely observing these developments, recalling historical parallels where their fate was decided by major powers. Donald Trump stated, "He says he doesn't have to think about economic sanctions on Russia for now. The meeting with Vladimir Putin went rather well."
