According to the affidavit, Vijay’s total movable assets stand at Rs 4,04,58,57,196, as detailed in the document.
The affidavit provides a detailed breakdown of his financial disclosures, including bank deposits, investments, vehicles, and other movable assets. Among the vehicles listed are high-end cars such as a BMW 530, BMW i7, Toyota Lexus 350, and Toyota Vellfire, along with other automobiles and two-wheelers.
The document also includes income details over multiple financial years. Vijay reported incomes of Rs 184.53 crore in 2024–25, 105.69 crore in 2023–24, Rs 198.71 crore in 2022–23, Rs 237.46 crore in 2021–22, and Rs 8.04 crore in 2020–21.
In addition, Vijay’s wife declared an income of Rs 6,13,520 for the financial year 2020–21, as per the affidavit.
The affidavit, filed as part of the election process, contains comprehensive disclosures of movable assets, income details, and financial holdings, in line with poll requirements.
VK chief, actor-politician Vijay on Monday filed his nomination to contest Assembly polls from Perambur constituency in Chennai and appealed to the people to give an opportunity to his party TVK and vote for the party's whistle symbol on April 23.
After filing his papers, Vijay, addressing the people from his open-top campaign vehicle, reiterated his allegation that the DMK was an evil force.
