Day after predicting a massive victory for the actor-turned-politician Vijay's party, TVK, in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections, Axis My India's Pradeep Gupta said they would not be doing the Bengal exit poll and explained the reason behind the decision. He cited an inability to gather a representative sample, revealing that nearly 70 to 80 per cent of voters, particularly women in both rural and urban areas, refused to disclose their electoral choices. Pradeep Gupta noted that while the BJP appears to be performing better than in previous elections in West Bengal, the widespread voter silence and past instances of violence against surveyors made it impossible to confidently project the final seat tally.
