Manipur viral video: 4 accused sent to 11-day police custody

All four accused have been sent to 11-day police custody in the Manipur viral video case. The shocking video of two women from the Kuki-Zomi community being paraded naked and sexually assaulted in Manipur surfaced on July 19. 

The incident allegedly took place on May 4, a day after ethnic clashes between Kukis and Meiteis broke out in the state. More than 160 people have lost their lives, and several have been injured since ethnic violence broke out.
