Papon's kissing controversy: Can affection justify his actions recorded in video?

Singer Papon Angaraag took to social media to issue a detailed statement on the accusation of sexual abuse of a 11-year-old reality TV contestant during a Holi celebration in a van. Papon, in a facebook live that he also posted on his page is seen with the participants of kids reality show The Voice India Kids. In the video, he first applied colour on the minor's face and then kissed her.

It's just an image that has left a bad taste in the mouth of everyone who has seen it. Singer Papon says it was only a sign of affection and nothing salacious should be read into it. You've seen the video and pictures. Is it as easy as that?
