On Saturday, Vijay’s brother Anand shared unseen pictures from Vijay and Rashmika’s wedding. Along with the images, he wrote, "This year you celebrate your birthday feeling more complete, with more confidence and courage than ever. Happy birthday bigggg brother!!! (sic)"
The new pictures from the wedding also became part of the wider online conversation around the celebrations.

On the work front, Vijay recently began VDxShouryuv with a traditional pooja ceremony on April 20. Actor Nani attended the event and was seen interacting with Vijay during the rituals. The film, directed by Shouryuv, has already generated interest online through its announcement poster and the lyric video, That’s a Roar. The release date and other details of the film are still under wraps.
Vijay is also set to feature in Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The historical action-drama is set between 1854 and 1878 and explores resistance against colonial rule and the hardships of the Great Indian Famine. Vijay plays the freedom fighter Ranabaali, while Rashmika Mandanna plays his partner, Jayamma. Arnold Vosloo is part of the film as the antagonist.
The project marks Vijay and Rashmika’s third collaboration after Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.
