Suvendu Adhikari to take oath as Bengal's first BJP CM tomorrow; Suspense over Vijay's swearing-in

BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari will be sworn in as the next Chief Minister of West Bengal in Kolkata tomorrow. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday declared Suvendu Adhikari as the next Chief Minister of West Bengal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah, chief ministers of NDA-ruled states are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony at Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata. Meanwhile, there is a suspense over Vijay's swearing-in as Tamil Nadu CM as the ceremony was delayed after Governor Rajendra Arlekar awaited a formal support letter from DMK ally, VCK, leaving TVK two short of the majority mark with 116 MLAs.
