Oben Electric has unveiled its latest electric motorcycle, the Oben Rorr EVO, at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers.

At the heart of the Rorr EVO is SmartIQ, Oben’s newly introduced AI-powered ride mode that analyses rider behaviour in real time and optimises power delivery. The system is claimed to improve range by up to 15 percent, reducing the need for manual ride mode adjustments while enhancing efficiency.

Performance figures place the Rorr EVO firmly in the urban performance segment. It accelerates from 0–40kmph in 3 seconds, reaches a top speed of 110kmph, and delivers a claimed IDC range of 180km. The motorcycle supports fast charging, with 0–80 percent charge achievable in 90 minutes using Oben’s fast-charging solution.

Power comes from a proprietary 9kW motor paired with a chain drive. The bike is equipped with a 3.4kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, offering higher heat resistance and a longer lifecycle compared to conventional lithium-ion units. The battery is housed in an aluminium structure and comes with an 8-year warranty.

Design-wise, the Rorr EVO adopts a bold streetfighter stance, featuring muscular bodywork, a projector headlamp with signature lighting, and premium detailing. Practicality is a key focus, with segment-leading features such as a 680mm long seat, a low 780mm seat height, and a first-in-segment 10-litre storage setup combining under-seat and tank storage. Additional usability features include reverse mode, 200mm ground clearance, and 230mm water-wading capability.

On the technology front, the motorcycle gets a 5-inch TFT display with navigation, ride data, and smartphone connectivity. Through the Oben app, users can access features like geo-fencing, ride analytics, theft protection, remote diagnostics, and emergency assistance. Safety features include Fall Alert with Emergency Assist, Unified Brake Assist, and a Driver Alert System.

The Rorr EVO will be available in four colour options: Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White. Bookings are open at Rs 777, with test rides and deliveries scheduled to begin from June 2026 across Oben’s 150 showrooms in India. After the introductory offer, the motorcycle will be priced at Rs 1,24,999 (ex-showroom).
