Lexus India introduces 8-year/2,00,000 km warranty for all new models

Lexus India has announced a significant upgrade to its ownership package, extending its standard vehicle warranty to 8 years or 2,00,000 km for all new models sold from April 1, 2026. With this move, the luxury carmaker claims to be the first in India to offer such comprehensive coverage in the premium segment.

The enhanced warranty underlines Lexus India’s continued focus on delivering reassuring ownership experience. The brand, which entered the Indian market in 2017, has consistently emphasised its Japanese philosophy of Omotenashi, a hospitality-driven approach centred on customer care and attention to detail.

Commenting on the development, Hikaru Ikeuchi, President of Lexus India, said the decision reflects the company’s confidence in the quality and reliability of its vehicles. He added that the extended coverage is aimed at offering customers greater peace of mind throughout their ownership journey, while also reinforcing the brand’s commitment to exceeding expectations in the luxury automotive space.

The new 8-year/2,00,000 km warranty will be applicable across the entire Lexus model range in India at no additional cost. Alongside this, customers will continue to have access to a suite of ownership benefits, including customised finance solutions, Lexus Luxury Care packages, insurance services, and roadside assistance.
