Mahindra records 14% growth in April 2026; SUV sales rise 8%
Mahindra & Mahindra began FY2027 on a strong note, posting 14 per cent overall sales growth in April 2026, driven by sustained SUV demand and steady performance across its commercial vehicle portfolio.

Mahindra & Mahindra has reported a strong start to FY2027, registering total vehicle sales of 94,627 units in April 2026, marking a 14 per cent year-on-year growth, including exports.
The company’s Utility Vehicle (UV) portfolio remained the primary growth driver. Domestic SUV sales stood at 56,331 units during the month, up 8 per cent compared to the same period last year. Including exports, Mahindra’s total UV sales reached 57,833 units.
Mahindra also recorded healthy traction in its Commercial Vehicle (CV) business, with domestic sales of 23,427 units in April 2026.
Commenting on the performance, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., said the company has entered the new financial year on a positive note, supported by sustained demand for its SUV lineup and overall vehicle portfolio.
The automaker has continued to witness steady momentum across its key SUV models, backed by strong demand in both urban and rural markets.
