Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya visits Kerala to review Covid situation

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya arrived in Kerala on Monday to review the Covid-19 situation in the state. He was accompanied by National Centre for Disease Control Head Dr Sujeet K Singh and Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan.

Mansukh Mandaviya held a meeting with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Health Minister Veena George along with other state officials.

"Central Govt allocates Rs 267.35 crore to Kerala under Emergency Covid Response Package- II. It will strengthen the state’s health infrastructure & effectively manage Covid-19. Additionally, Rs 1 crore will be made available to each district of Kerala for creating a medicine pool,” Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted after the meeting.
