Covid cases are on the rise in Delhi. Delhi on Monday recorded 4,099 new Covid-19 cases and one death in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate stood at around 6.50 per cent. Monday saw the highest single-day rise in Covid cases since May 18. The Omicron cases in the national capital stands at 351. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said, "In two days 84 per cent Omicron cases were reported in the national capital". As of now, Delhi is on yellow alert but with the positivity rate shooting over six per cent, harsher restrictions could be the government's next step.
