NDA's joint press conference cancelled, seat-sharing talks still on

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) joint press conference regarding seat-sharing for the upcoming Bihar assembly election has been cancelled. 

The primary points of contention are the specific seat demands by Chirag Paswan of the LJP (Ram Vilas) and Jitan Ram Manjhi of HAM, which are reportedly on constituencies currently held by the Janata Dal (United). The discord is further fuelled by the vocal displeasure of allies Jitan Ram Manjhi and Upendra Kushwaha, who are unhappy with being allocated only six seats each, a number they feel undermines their party's significance within the coalition.
