The Axis My India exit poll has predicted that the Congress is expected to repeat its 2019 performance in Punjab and is projected to win 7-9 of 13 seats. The ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) may get 0-2 seats while the BJP is likely to bag 2-4 seats.
The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), once a dominant force in Punjab, may not open its account this time, predicted the exit poll.Â
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress won eight seats, followed by the Shiromani Akali Dal and the BJP, who won two seats each. The Aam Aadmi Party secured one seat.
