Sunil Pal on Samay Raina's India's Got Latent 2: Seat your own mother, father
Comedian Sunil Pal mocked India's Got Latent Season 2 and suggested that Samay Raina's parents should judge the show.

Comedian Sunil Pal has again mocked Samay Raina and his show India’s Got Latent Season 2, saying sarcastically that it is "too big" for someone like him. He took a jibe at Samay and suggested that he should seat his own mother and father on the judging panel for the second season.
In a recent interaction that has surfaced online, Sunil was asked whether he would appear as a guest on India’s Got Latent Season 2. He made it clear, in a sarcastic tone, that he was not interested in joining the show. "I will not go because it is such a big show and not suitable for someone like me. I am a small artiste," Sunil said.
Sunil then took another swipe at Samay while speaking about the show’s judging panel. Referring to Archana Puran Singh’s presence on Kapil Sharma’s show, he said that for Samay Raina’s second season, two people should be seated as judges: his own mother and father. He added that the show should then be performed in front of them.
The dispute between Sunil Pal and Samay Raina began after India’s Got Latent became the centre of a controversy last year. The show faced legal trouble and public backlash after Ranveer Allahbadia made an explicit remark during one of the episodes. The row led to multiple FIRs and criticism online, and several comedians and creators were drawn into the debate.
During that period, Sunil openly criticised both the show and the comedians linked to it. In interviews and videos that went viral, he accused creators such as Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia of negatively influencing young audiences.
Sunil and Samay had once again clashed in a funny banter during their appearance in Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Show.
On the professional front, Samay announced the return of his popular roast-style talent show, India's Got Latent, during his recent show, Still Alive.
