Avika Gor relocates to Bangkok with husband Milind Chandwani. Here's why
Avika Gor has moved to Bangkok with Milind Chandwani after their marriage. In an interview, the actor opened up about the decision. She will be seen next in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.

Actor Avika Gor has moved to Bangkok with her husband Milind Chandwani, but says the shift does not signal a break from her work in Indian television and films. Speaking in a recent interview, Avika said the move was largely driven by better opportunities for Milind, while her own work has already involved extended schedules outside Mumbai.
“We’ve moved to Bangkok and even bought a house there, which I’ve been setting up as per my taste,” she said while speaking to Hindustan Times, adding that the decision felt exciting for her as well.
Avika shared that the couple, in a relationship for seven years before getting married last year, has consistently supported each other’s careers. She said that just as Milind backed her during long shooting schedules, she did not want to hold him back from exploring opportunities abroad.
“We have always believed in supporting each other to grow. If I get a project that takes me away for months, he supports that completely. Similarly, I don’t think I should stop his growth either,” she said.
Addressing concerns about her career, Avika said relocating has not changed her professional priorities. She pointed out that even while living in Mumbai, she frequently travelled for shoots to cities such as Hyderabad, Rajahmundry and Visakhapatnam.
“I realised it doesn’t really have to be Mumbai where I have my base,” she said, adding that she continues to travel to India regularly for work. “The priority will always be my commitments because those are the things that made me who I am today.”
Avika also dismissed concerns about missing out on projects due to the move. She said work typically aligns with her schedule, and that collaborations depend on mutual effort.
“When somebody wants to work with me, they should make that effort,” she said, adding that industry colleagues have been supportive of her decision.
While she now has a base abroad, Avika added that her roots remain firmly in India, where her family continues to live. She is also set to travel soon for the shoot for the next season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.
