Dev Adhikari replaces Sourav Ganguly as Dadagiri Unlimited host
Dev Adhikari is set to host the new season of Zee Bangla's Dadagiri Unlimited, replacing Sourav Ganguly. The change comes as Ganguly moves to Bigg Boss Bangla and Adhikari continues with his upcoming films.

Bengali actor Dev Adhikari is set to host the upcoming season of Zee Bangla’s quiz show Dadagiri Unlimited, taking over from former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly. Adhikari, who was recently campaigning during the West Bengal elections, has completed filming the promo for the new season.
Dadagiri Unlimited, one of the longest-running Bengali shows, features participants from the 24 districts of West Bengal. Adhikari will host the show this season while also preparing to shoot his next film with Subhashree Ganguly.
Ganguly had been the face of Dadagiri Unlimited for several years. He hosted the show from 2009 to 2011, returned after a brief break in 2013, and continued until 2024. This year, Ganguly is set to host Bigg Boss Bangla. The announcement was made on March 6 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
On the film front, Adhikari and Subhashree Ganguly are reuniting for a new film, tentatively titled “DeSu7”, after working together on Dhumketu (2025). Shooting for DeSu7 will begin in June and continue until September. The film is expected to release during Durga Puja this year.
Adhikari also has Tonic 2, a comedy directed by Avijit Sen and also starring Paran Bandopadhyay, lined up for release in Christmas 2026. Before that, his next release will be “Bike Ambulance Dada”, a biographical film on the life of Padma Shri awardee Karimul Haque. The film is scheduled to release on Independence Day this year.
Adhikari will now step into Ganguly’s place on Dadagiri Unlimited even as he continues work across films, with DeSu7, Tonic 2 and Bike Ambulance Dada forming part of his upcoming slate.
