Vajpayee had reached out to Nawaz Sharif to win a peace prize: Ramdev
"Nothing has come out from talks with Pakistan. Then why the same thing again and again,' says the yoga guru on Sunday's Manmohan Singh-Nawaz Sharif meeting.

Baba Ramdev
Over 120 years after Swami Vivekananda gave his historic address in Fullerton Hall in Chicago, Swami Ramdev reached there to address the world on Saturday. But before his speech, the yoga guru did not forget to give a piece of advice to the Indian government.

In this scenario, Ramdev believes that however much India talked to Pakistan, the neighbouring country would not mend its ways.
"Laton ke bhoot baton se nahi mante ("Those used to kicks won't understand with words)," he said using the famous Hindi proverb. "Till date, nothing has come out from talks with Pakistan. Then why the same thing again and again?"
Ramdev thinks this is due to the failed policies of the government. But not just the Congress, he also counted the mistakes made by BJP-led NDA government.
"(Then Prime Minister Atal Bihari) Vajpayee-ji too hoped to win a (Nobel) peace prize. That's why he extended the hand of friendship towards Pakistan," he said.
