Covid no bar, Bihar turns out for first phase of elections

In the first phase of polling in Bihar assembly election 2020, over 53 per cent of voters practiced their franchise. Of the 243 seats in Bihar Assembly, 71 constituencies in 16 districts, including most of the LWE (Left-wing extremism) affected districts, went to polls in the first phase of the Bihar assembly elections.
