TRAGEDY STRIKES ON THE WAY TO BEAUTY PARLOUR
The victim, identified as Rachna, a resident of Gaur Kothi village under Bariyarpur, was on her way to a nearby beauty parlour to get ready for her wedding. She was traveling on a motorcycle with her younger brother when the accident occurred at a local intersection.
According to reports, the motorcycle lost control, causing Rachna to fall onto the road. In a tragic turn of events, a speeding trailer truck coming from the opposite direction ran over her, leading to her instant death.
POLICE ACTION UNDERWAY
Station House Officer Deepak Singh confirmed that the bride died after being crushed under the trailer. The vehicle has been seized, and the driver has been taken into custody. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and a case has been registered under relevant legal sections. Further investigation is ongoing, he added.

Rachna’s family, headed by her father Minister Paswan, had been busy with wedding preparations as the groom’s procession was expected to arrive later that day. What was meant to be a day of joy and celebration turned into one of unimaginable grief.
Local representative Rajesh Rajbhar described the incident as deeply tragic, noting that the wedding festivities instantly turned into mourning after the news of her death reached home.
