Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited former Karnataka Chief Minister and BJP leader BS Yediyurappa's residence in Bengaluru on Friday. The ex-Karnataka CM welcomed Amit Shah with a flower bouquet but the Home Minister asked him to give it to his son Vijayendra. Vijayendra then took the bouquet from his father and presented it to Amit Shah and the two posed for pictures for the mediapersons present there.
In 2022, Yediyurappa said his son Vijayendra will be contesting the 2023 Karnataka polls from the Shikaripura Assembly seat.
