Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia get clean chit in Delhi excise policy case

Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has discharged all 23 accused persons in the alleged Liquorgate scam, including Aam Aadmi Party leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and K Kavita. The court observed that serious allegations raised by the prosecution lacked material evidence and that the claim projecting Kejriwal as the central conspirator could not be sustained. The court noted that the prosecution case failed judicial scrutiny and that no criminal intent or grave suspicion could be established, while flagging internal contradictions in the prosecution's narrative. Meanwhile, the CBI said that it will challenge the order in the Delhi High Court.
